Yvette is a graduate of Dalton College with an Associates Degree in Computer Operations which has helped her to understand and stay on the cutting edge of the technological changes that effect real estate every day. After working in Financial Services in the carpet industry for over a decade, Yvette began her real estate career as an office assistant. Once she was familiar with the inner workings of the real estate business, Yvette sat for her salesperson license and then her brokers license. Yvette joined Flipper McDaniel & Associates in June of 2005 and is now the Associate Broker. She received her Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) designation in February 2008.
Yvette served at 2008 President of the Gordon Association of Realtors and has served in the past as Vice President, Secretary, Board Director, and 2009 State Director. Yvette also served on the Association's Education and Community Service committees. Charitable events have included March of Dimes walk and working with the association's Chili Cook Off for the American Cancer Society for 4 consecutive years. She has also volunteered and served as leader for a local Girls Scout troop. She is also a Calhoun Chamber of Commerce Ambassador and a charter member of the Gordon Optimist Club. Yvette has received the Silver Circle of Honor for 2006, Board Dedication Award for 2007 & 2008, and Scholastic Achievement Award for 2007 & 2008 from the Gordon Association of Realtors. February 2009 She received an Appreciation Award from the Gordon Assoc. for her service as 2008 Association President.
Yvette is an active member of Sugar Valley Baptist Church. She and her husband, Danny Seritt, live in Sugar Valley.
